I have became a father! Though my life has become more fulfilled than I could have ever imagined, I have had less time for photography…at least the way I used to do it..

To spend more time with my family and still follow my passion I have changed my approach to the way I take pictures. I have strayed away from the stationary, waiting-in-beautiful-locations-to-capture-beautiful-sunsets way I used to photograph, to now finding beauty in the every-day and capture images of a more mundane nature when out with my family.

I found this inspiration during sleepless nights of child rearing when I stumbled across a number of film photographers who showed me how to slow down, to be more aware of my surroundings and see the beauty in the small things.

These images are my attempt to follow in their footsteps.
